Rescuing Her Ranch is the first book in the Stone River Ranch series, and if this book is any indication, it will be an enjoyable reading experience. As this is a Love Inspired offering, you are assured that this will be a clean read with a satisfying ending. Both Cole and Macey are stubborn, and at times they are their own worst enemy. Cole has allowed himself to be belittled by his uncle, and Macey has allowed past grievances to influence her current view and response to various situations.  Overall a fairly good read that is a good snow day diversion.
