A late-night walk starts a friendship between Marcus and the ladies of Rose Cottage. Could there be something more than friendship and troubling dreams between Marcus and Tansy? All his life Marcus has been told Simon must marry first, but Tansy White could tempt him to put himself first. 

The Dreaming Beauty is a Regency retelling of Sleeping Beauty that is a lovely story. First, we have three aunts raising their orphaned niece. Second, we have a delightful cottage sort of hidden away in the woods. And in a nod to the Disney version, there is a nod to the pink dress. Or was it blue? 

There are references to the Masked Baron who had his own book. This book is a standalone title that does not need to have The Masked Baron read to enjoy this book. But The Masked Baron is a book you may want to pick up after reading this one (it's an enjoyable, easy read too). This is a lighthearted, easy read that has moments that will make you laugh and others that will exacerbate you. This is a clean read Regency romance that is an excellent introduction to Anneka R. Walker's work if you have not read her before.
