Game Over ~ Review

Game Over
The MindWar Trilogy #3
By Andrew Klavan

Rick Dial has entered the Realm and it has left its mark on him. His dreams are of the Realm and his headaches are getting worse. Has he delved too long into the Realm?  Is he one trip away from becoming like Favian and Mariel - forever trapped within the Realm?

Kurodar is not about to let his latest disappointment at the hands of Rick deter him.  In fact he is determined to turn Rick into his newest weapon in his bid to exact his revenge upon the United States and all who stand against him.  And he knows just how to do this...

All the excitement and intensity of MindWar and Hostage Run doesn't let up in the conclusion of this trilogy.  The war against the Realm has become more dangerous when Kurodar gains control of a computer system that allows him even greater power.  And this time Kurodar may very well annihilate any and all who oppose him.  The time to stop him is now!  With mere hours to stop Kurodar, Rick must face his greatest challenge ever.

Until I read this series I had never before read any of Andrew Klavan's work.  At the recommendation of my sister I decided to give this author a "read"-over and this series was my introduction into the mind of Andrew Klavan and this journey has been worth the time spent between the pages.  This final book actual was so intriguing that I read it in one day, though it was a very late night as I could not put it down until I reached the final page.

Get ready for some unexpected twists that you'll never see coming - identities will be revealed, betrayals will be discovered, and there will be losses.

If you have not read the first two books in the series be sure to pick them up before starting Game Over so that you can fully enjoy the series and see how Rick grows as a person.  The only drawback in my opinion is that the series is over.  But I so enjoyed it I plan on re-reading it again.

I was provided a copy of this book by the publisher through the BookLook Bloggers program in exchange for my honest review.

About the Book:
The MindWar Realm is a computerized world created by a deranged terrorist named Kurodar. Built through a link between Kurodar’s mind and a network of supercomputers, The Realm is a pathway through which the madman can project himself into any computer system on the planet.
