STORY
Our Journey of Heartaches and Grace from Eden to Evermore
by Steven James
To fully understand Easter we have to go back to the very beginning or else our understanding is as if we had come in on the last act of a movie.
Easter's roots go back to the beginning of time. Before Creation there was God and darkness. Then God created. God created someone He could love, someone He could share the rest of His creation with.
But Adam and Eve weren't satisfied with the knowledge of good and the love of God. They made a choice, a choice that changed everything. They chose the knowledge of evil and death. Eden was lost, paradise on Earth destroyed forever.
But God put into motion a plan to redeem us, to allow us to again chose Him. But His plan took time. And as the years passed, God reached out to us time and time again, but we kept rejecting His voice and fell further into the chains of sin - hate, murder, lust, discontent, idolatry - all awakened by the serpent's deadly venom.
But God didn't want to simply change us, He wanted to transform us. To transform us God paid the ultimate price for that which He had created. He died a death of torment and separation - His soul was kept from the joy of Heaven and for three days He was filled with the guilt of sin which we committed throughout the ages.
When Jesus died upon the cross so did hope, but death is not the end of the story. Jesus conquered death and hope was reborn in the human soul. Don't allow the nets of life to entangle you, instead allow the peace and joy of God to fill your soul. Quit warring with God and allow the peace that the angel's proclaimed at Jesus' birth to come home and become the Bride of Christ as you were meant to be before the worlds and stars were formed.

With vivid imagery and poetry to help drive home points, you are sure to come away with a new perspective on and about Easter. Rediscover the truth behind the sacrifice that has brought us eternal hope when you read Story.
