The Elite Guardians Collection is a series spinoff of Lynette Eason's five-book Elite Guardians series. The Elite Guardians are bodyguards who are almost all women. This series focuses on other members of this team who were not the main characters in the original series.
Using Lynette Eason's original series as a guide, three new authors have added their voices to create new and unique characters and stories for this new series. So those who loved The Elite Guardians and wanted more, this is a delightful way to get it as three new authors add their unique take and blend it into the world Lynette Eason has already introduced us to. Now it isn't necessary to read the original series first unless you'd like the backstory to flesh out your understanding of who is who and how they all fit together.

Though this is part of a series this thrilling read can be read as a standalone if you have not read the other Elite Guardian books - though reading one can never be as satisfying as reading them all. Excellent reading if you want something that takes you out of your day-to-day normal. This is one you won't want to put down.
