As Kennedy works to complete her mother's research, Kennedy has to wonder was it the present or the closely guarded past that has brought this danger upon her and those she holds dear. With little to go on, Kennedy and Night Hawk are in a race against a killer who is more than one step ahead of them.

Fans of Susan Sleeman will enjoy this newest book. It is the fifth book in a series but can easily be read as a standalone book. This is clean reading suspense with a definite touch of romance as the past and the present collides in an attention-grabbing read. This is definitely a one-more-chapter kind of book that you won't regret reading.
