By Tracey J. Lyons
Sadie Fischer is known for her mishaps which makes her a questionable choice as the community teacher. No one can fault her dedication to her students but her position is a precarious one as she was hired as a temporary teacher. Her actions are under scrutiny as Miller's Crossing is a small community where nothing is easily hidden.
When Levi Byler comes to temporarily help out his cousin Jacob Sadie finds her reputation is on the line. Especially after a storm damages her school. The damage finds Levi aiding in repairing the school causing more than a little speculation concerning Sadie and Levi's time together. What's worse Sadie finds her heart being drawn to this newcomer whom she senses is hurting. Levi's heart has been broken and he doubts he'll ever trust it to another anytime soon. But Sadie seems determined to root out his pain-something he is less than willing to disclose to anyone, much less a husband-seeking teacher.
If you are looking for a sweet, feel-good read you must read this book by Tracey J. Lyons. Part of the Miller's Crossing series, The Amish Teacher's Wish can be enjoyed as a standalone title without any difficulties. This book is a fun staycation escape from your every day.
I received a complimentary copy of this book with no expectations but that I provide my honest opinion - all thoughts expressed are my own.
