Strands of Truth ~ Review

Strands of Truth
By Colleen Coble

Harper Taylor never knew her mother and she has always wanted a family to call her own so she is about to do what she can to make her dreams come true. When a DNA test reveals a probable half-sister mere hours away Harper arranges to meet with her. Maybe Annabelle Rice can answer the questions about her father that she has.

But Annabell has the same questions that Harper has. In a surprising coincidence, Annabell too lost her mother at a young age though she at least has a few memories.

When Harper's mentor, father figure, and business partner Oliver Jackson has a major medical crisis she is stuck working with Oliver's son Ridge. Unfortunately, Ridge has never liked Harper and if they can't work together Oliver's newest business venture may never get off the ground. But when Harper and her work both are attacked Ridge steps in to help her.

When Harper's newly discovered sister also suffers a similar incident the coincidences in their lives start to seem suddenly much more sinister. Could someone be targetting them both? And did someone also target their mother's? Figuring out just what happened all those years ago could be imperative to their survival.

Those who are familiar with Colleen Coble's work will know just how well she can weave a suspense-filled mystery without giving away the outcome and she once again does so with Strands of Truth. This book appears to be a standalone work so if you are unfamiliar with the author's work that is an excellent introduction. Want a page-turning-can't-put-it-down read? How about a dose of romance to go with your suspense? Well, this book will give you all this and more. So make your way to your favorite spot and get ready to immerse yourself within these pages as you too try to figure out just who did what to whom.

I was provided with a complimentary copy of this book with no expectations but that I offer my honest opinion - all thoughts expressed are my own.
