Broken Wings
Angel Eyes Trilogy Book 2
Shannon Dittemore
Brielle and Jake are able to see into the Celestial when the Sabre tear the Terrestrial Veil. Exquisite music is heard, music which is one of worship before the throne.
Can we get glimpses into Heaven? I like to think the Aurora Borealis would be just such a glimpse of Heaven that we are given. But is it possible to get a glimpse into Heaven?
In my morning devotions yesterday, I read that it is possible though not common. I was reading Jesus the One and Only by Beth Moore and on page 62 a reference was made to Matthew 3:16 CJB At that moment Heaven was opened, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and lighting on Him. But this is not the only reference to Heaven being opened, there is also Acts 7:55-56 NLT But Stephen, full of the Holy Spirit, gazed steadily into heaven and saw the glory of God, and he saw Jesus standing in the place of honor at God’s right hand. And he told them, “Look, I see the heavens opened and the Son of Man standing in the place of honor at God’s right hand!”
There aren't many verses dealing with people being able to look into Heaven. One account is Jesus getting a glimpse after His baptism by John and the other is Stephen when he is being stoned for his witness. In each case the Heaven's were opened to reveal God's glory. What a wondrous sight to be able to behold a glimpse of God's glory as it must have been to Adam and Eve.
Broken Wings was an interesting and entertaining sequel to Angel Eyes and I look forward to Dark Halo scheduled for release this summer. I want to know what happens to Olivia, Marco, and the halo. What happened to Jake and Cannan. Is the tear in the Terrestrial Veil permanent or will it be resealed, will the skies over Stratus forever provide a glimpse of the Celestial?
