Who is Jesus? ~ Review

Who is Jesus?
By MaryAnn Diorio
Illustrated by Kim Sponaugle

If you have kids in your life you know they ask questions.  And invariably they will one day ask you questions about Jesus and who he is.  Will you know how to answer?  Who is Jesus? will help you answer these questions.

We all have questions about whether Jesus can love us when we mess up or if illness is from Jesus. Who is Jesus? offers us assurances about Jesus and his love.  And we are reminded that Jesus is God!

The colorful illustrations are wonderful additions to this story and add to it's charm.  This would be a welcome addition to any church or home library.  This would be an excellent gift for any Sunday School/Children's Church teacher.

I was provided a digital proof of this book by the author through TBCN/BookFun in exchange for my honest review.

About the Book:

Does Jesus give tummy aches when you’re bad?” “Does he get mad at you when you’re naughty?” “Does he laugh at you when you fall down?”

Award-winning children’s author Mary Ann Diorio, who holds a doctorate of philosophy, draws on her experience as a mother, grandmother and teacher to tackle these tough questions in a heartwarming way in her new children’s book, “Who is Jesus?”

Helping parents, grandparents and caregivers answer many questions kids ask, “Who Is Jesus?” is a delightful and uplifting read that helps children come to know Jesus as love personified and as someone who cares about them and loves them with a perfect love.

“Children ask tough questions that can be particularly challenging to answer,” Diorio says. “Questions like, ‘Does Jesus love me when I mess up?’ and ‘Did God make me sick?’ The goal of this book is to help answer these questions from the truth of Scripture, presented in an engaging and relatable way that young toddlers can understand.”
